Privacy Policy
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Infundingpulse ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit or interact with our website and any related services. We respect your privacy and are committed to handling your personal information responsibly, in line with applicable data-protection laws including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and other regional privacy frameworks where they apply to our operations.
Information We Collect
Our web servers and edge providers automatically receive certain information from your device whenever you request a page on Infundingpulse: IP address, request headers (including browser type and accepted languages), the resource requested, and the time of the request. Some of this is stored for a short period in access logs; the rest is processed in memory and discarded.
Some features of Infundingpulse are designed for you to provide information voluntarily. If you subscribe to our newsletter you give us your email address (and, optionally, your name); if you use the Contact form you give us the details of your message; if you send us a press release or tip, we receive whatever you choose to put in the body of that email. We collect only what you submit, and we use it only for the purpose for which you submitted it.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: operate, maintain, and improve the site; deliver newsletter editions and transactional emails you have requested; respond to questions, tips, and corrections; comply with our legal obligations; measure aggregate readership; and detect, prevent, or address technical problems, fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Use. We do not sell your personal information.
Where European data-protection law applies, we rely on the following bases for our processing activities: legitimate interest (for site operation, security, and aggregate analytics); consent (for marketing communications and optional non-essential cookies); contractual necessity (for delivering subscription content you have requested); and legal obligation (for retention of records we are required to keep). You may withdraw consent at any point without affecting prior lawful processing.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Infundingpulse uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as local storage and pixel tags) to remember basic preferences (e.g., whether you've accepted our cookie banner), to keep you signed in to interactive features if applicable, to measure aggregate visitor counts, and — where you have consented — to serve relevant advertising. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and you can withdraw consent to non-essential cookies at any time via our cookie banner.
Third-Party Service Providers
We rely on a small set of third-party service providers to operate Infundingpulse: a cloud-hosting provider for our servers, a content-delivery network and edge security provider, an email-delivery provider for our newsletter, and an analytics provider for aggregate visitor metrics. Each of these vendors processes data on our behalf under written contractual terms that restrict use of the data to the services we contract for.
Advertising
We may display advertising on Infundingpulse sold programmatically through Google AdSense or another reputable advertising network. These networks use cookies to measure ad delivery and (where consent is granted) to personalize the ads shown. You can disable personalized advertising in your Google account at https://www.google.com/settings/ads and refuse non-essential cookies through our cookie banner.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or to comply with our legal obligations. Newsletter subscribers' email addresses are kept until they unsubscribe (at which point the record is moved to a suppression list and is no longer used for marketing). Contact-form submissions are retained for up to 24 months for follow-up and recordkeeping. Server access logs are retained for up to 90 days.
Your Privacy Rights
Under privacy laws including the GDPR (Europe) and the CCPA / CPRA (California), you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it if it is inaccurate, to ask us to delete it, to opt out of any sale or sharing of it (we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising), to restrict its use, and to bring a complaint to a regulator. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the Contact form below.
Children's Privacy
Our service is intended for adult readers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16, and we will delete any such information we discover. Parents and guardians who believe a child has submitted information to Infundingpulse are encouraged to contact us so we can remove it promptly.
International Data Transfers
Operating a web service inherently involves moving data across borders. We may process and store information about you on servers located outside your country of residence, including the United States. When transfers from the EEA, UK, or other restricted jurisdictions occur, we use Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Among other things, the site is served over HTTPS, internal access is restricted to authorized staff, our vendors are vetted and contractually obligated to use appropriate security controls, and we maintain procedures for responding to suspected incidents.
Changes to This Policy and How to Reach Us
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. For significant changes we will provide additional notice (such as a banner on the site or a note in the newsletter). Privacy-related questions or requests should be sent through the Contact form linked in the footer.
